Trails were in good shape, still some small puddles and slick spots but ready to rock!
Looks like 909 saw some heavy downpours wed as there was some noticeable rain erosion on some of the trails and the jeep trails had their share of deep puddles as usual. The rain erosion also loosened up some of the smaller rocks so I noticed more wheel slippage than recently but the trails are ready to ride.
Singletrack held up well under the rain and was really needed as the trails were getting alot of sand pockets from being too dry. Jeep trails had teh most puddles and the usual on trail spots still had a touch of water.
Trails are ready to rock!
Trails in perfect shape - hard packed and fast. The mid-day shower on wed should not effect the trails at all, in fact, it prob helped.
Parking Lot side trails in good shape!
Trails at 909 in really good shape, get out and ride! :)
The trails were in the best shape I've ever seen. Even the usual trouble spots were drained pretty well. Had an excellent ride. Hit Watchamacallit, Timbuktu and some trail we've never been on before.
some leaves on the trail and only 1-2 wet spots. very good condition overall
Rode 909 for the first time mid-day after the daily melt and was pleasantly surprised to find good conditions even with the rain late last week. Some surface muddy spots on the singletrack, but for this time in Feb...hell its better that it was last sept! ;) If you really want to get spectacular conditions, hit 909 while its still frozen..it really rocks then!
